Who we are

waspdev.com ("the Site") is a personal blog and portfolio operated by Suren Enfiajyan, based in Armenia ("we", "us", "our"). Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains what data we (and the services we use) collect and how it is handled.

What are cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer's hard drive or on your mobile device when you visit a website. These pieces of information move between the website's server and your browser. Cookies thus allow the user's terminal (computer, smartphone, etc.) to be identified and the website's content to be displayed according to the user's preferences. Cookies cannot be used to identify a person.

What data we collect

Theme-preference cookie Remember whether you prefer the light or dark mode A single cookie containing "light" or "dark"
Google Analytics Understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, session length, device type, etc.) IP address (anonymized), device/browser metadata, usage statistics

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics with IP-anonymization enabled. Google acts as our data processor, and data may be stored on servers in the United States. Google Analytics sets cookies (listed above) to compile reports on Site traffic and usage patterns.

The Site may link to external sites (e.g., GitHub, LinkedIn, MDN Web Docs). Clicking those links takes you to properties we do not control. Review their privacy policies separately.

Your rights (GDPR & similar laws)

If you are in the EU/EEA or under similar regimes, you may have the right to:

Because we store no direct personal data, exercising these rights usually entails removing analytics cookies or emailing us to delete correspondence.

Data security

The Site is served over HTTPS. While no internet transmission is perfectly secure, we implement technical measures (TLS, secure server configuration) to reduce risks.

International transfers

Google Analytics may process data outside your jurisdiction (including the USA). Standard contractual clauses and Google's Data Processing Amendment apply to safeguard EU data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or Site functionality. The "Last updated on" date at the top will change accordingly. Significant changes will be announced on this Site.
